Stereophonics – In A Moment (new song)
Yesterday the Welsh band Stereophonics unveiled a new song from their upcoming album Graffiti On The Train, which is to be released in March 2013. In A Moment is also available as a free download. You can get it at the band’s official page www.stereophonics.com or here: http://bit.ly/IAMsingle.
Talking about the song, singer Kelly Jones said: “The song is about finding some hope in life. It’s about those moments in life when you feel a bit lost and stuck and you don’t know how to get out of it and then there’s a glimmer of hope that helps you pull through it. It’s quite a spiritual song.”
The single will be released as a limited edition 10” numbered vinyl on December 10th. After than the band start a mini UK tour, starting on December 15th and ending on December 20th. They will be supported by Supergrass singer Gaz Coombes.
I really like the song. It seems to me that Stereophonics are sounding better than ever. Last month they released a video for Violines And Tambourines, a song that blew me away and is probably my favourite Stereophonics song now. The video was directed by Kelly Jones himself. Take a look at it below.
Commenting on his directorial debut, Kelly said on Facebook: “I’ve loved film and music ever since I was a kid. When I first started writing songs I realised they could paint pictures in your mind, which inevitably leads to telling stories. I’ve always wanted to combine them both. Directing for the first time with a fantastic crew and cast was a great experience. Here’s an appetiser of film and new music from our 8th album. Kelly x”
